The Polymath Will Now Have A New Post Every Tuesday, Every Week

T

I’ll keep this one short. I’ve written a lot on this blog in the last six months. However, I’ve realised that too much is as bad as nothing. In fact, four post per week is overwhelming as per most people who read my blog. It is also overwhelming for me and at times, I won’t lie, I produced half-assed content just for the sake of getting a post out. So, there are going to be a few changes.

The Polymath Will Now Have A New Post Every Tuesday, Every Week

The Polymath will have one post weekly, like how it was when the blog began. I believe this will leave me enough time to collect my thoughts, find time to write content that is worth reading and also focus on other things I haven’t laid any focus on for a while.

The many people I’ve discussed this with also seem to agree with the decision. The reason I thought of this change is simple. I listen to a lot of podcasts. However, I failed to find time to attend to most of them, and as new episodes came out, the stacks kept increasing. It came to the point that I outright skipped all of them to resume listening.

The way I see it, most inboxes this blog ventures into may be stacked with posts from The Polymath. I don’t blame you though. In fact, I know that everyone has a life of their own and sparing say, five minutes on a blog post every day is infeasible sometimes. Hell, I almost fail to write blog posts in time so I understand if most people fail to read posts.

As someone who creates content though, that is the worst thing that I can imagine for it. So, let’s dumb it down a bit. Let’s cut all of us some slack and let’s go back to one post a week. Regular posts, nonetheless. Just fewer.

So, instead of posts from Monday through Thursday, expect a blog post every Tuesday starting next week. I guess that’s it. Have a great week.
