Over the last month or so, I’ve been imparted a few words of wisdom by a few friends, family members and situations and now that this post is almost a year old, I think it’s about time I started applying whatever was in my mind when I wrote that I’ll be heading to a new direction. I’ve left the cynical kid behind now, finally and with that idea in mind, I hung out with a few friends for about two weeks. I went out more. I took more initiative and as a result, I was pretty darn happy. For the first time, in a long time, I felt the I’m happy on the inside notion and it was a very different feeling. So over the course of those two weeks and some very exhilarating experiences, I clicked a few landscapes and transformed them into bold, motivational posters with the words I’d want someone to tell me every single time. As of now, those posters sit as my desktop wallpaper and keep changing every one minute, it’s a little thing but it’s a lot of positive. I know I’m not making any sense so far because this post isn’t much about me than it is about these ‘Positive Thoughts’ posters and what happened after I showed them to a few friends. Let’s start with the posters, here is a gallery of them.
After making these, which took less time than you might imagine, I thought, “What next?” and then came a wild thought like a drop of first summer rain on a blazing hot summer day, one and a half-word – T-Shirts – and there I was, creating mockups, asking for opinions. Though, the mockups I created were unrealistic but they were cool, they still are and if you know somewhere I can get about 8 different, all-over printed T-Shirts in India, let me know. Stop reading right here and send me a message. Yes, I’m that desperate. So, after a few days I came across Paintcollar.com which is an insanely cool and well-thought platform. It’s a store for creative people, by creative people. Designers and Artists upload artwork and designs and these artworks are printed on-demand on merchandise including large Canvas prints to basic T-Shirts to Laptop skins and Posters. It didn’t take me long to set up shop and once I did, nothing happened at all. Yes, nothing happened. So, I created one more T-Shirt from a Sticker design I made a few days back. With 9 designs on my Paintcollar store, at least one order would’ve been good but truth be told, I’m not good at this self-promotion thing. Look at this blog, been running it since ages and I don’t promote it as much as I should but I just can’t do it and moreover, I have no clue what to do to promote stuff. So, if you’d like to check my store out, go to www.Paintcollar.com/DeepanshKhurana and if you really like something, go ahead! So, that pretty much sums this post up. See ya later! 🙂
