Today was a wonderful day, I slept for as long as I wanted and then I didn’t have to study. Though my Boards haven’t officially ended but the journey is almost over. With only Entrepreneurship left scheduled for almost a month later, my Journey Through Boards 2014 is at a pause and by Jove this is the best feeling I’ve had since 3 months. This week I gave two exams which was pretty hectic, for anyone.
First was Mathematics. I was pretty confident about the exam because my course was pretty much done and revised about a month before the exams had begun but the question paper really killed the mood that day. The paper was really standardised, if not tough. It was the first Board exam that brought the thought of the board exam fear stories that everyone tells us. It was not difficult, it was long and it had a standard of its own. It was doable but I was terrified for a few minutes, just 3 hours and so much to do. I completed the paper still satisfied and I may hit a 90+ out of 100 but the chance remains less. So Mathematics was pretty good at the end. Mathematics made me realise that not all stories that people tell you are made up. At times, CBSE does set difficult question papers.
Next was Computer Science for which I had just a day but I had studied during the 10 days for Mathematics too and I was prepared. The most unique part about the Computer exam was that there were no sets i.e. all of us had the same questions in the same order, but no cheating was still to the minimum, but that’s just saying. Those who had to do it would find any way, I guess. My computer exam was pretty straightforward, I knew everything except one question and I completed the paper in a jiffy. After coming home, I relaxed and to relax after more than two months of headaches, struggles, difficulties and frustration was a feeling that would be considered out of this world. Unexplainable.
But that doesn’t end things, I have Entrepreneurship on the 19th of April so for now, The Polymath will resume back to the normal posting. This kind of ends Journey Through Boards 2014.
